Job Description
The Social Worker will provide professional support, advocacy, and interventions to individuals, families, and communities facing social, emotional, or practical challenges. The role focuses on safeguarding vulnerable individuals, promoting independence, and enabling positive change in line with statutory duties and best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of individuals and families to identify needs, risks, and strengths.
Develop and implement care/support plans tailored to each service user.
Provide advice, guidance, and practical support to help clients access services and improve wellbeing.
Safeguard vulnerable adults and children in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams including health, education, housing, and voluntary services.
Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation in line with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure fair access to services and opportunities.
Respond to crisis situations, providing timely intervention and support.
Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Contribute to service reviews, audits, and the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification).
- Registration with [relevant professional body e.g., Social Work England].
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding frameworks, legislation, and best practice.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work under pressure.
