Job Description
We are recruiting a reliable Highways Operative to join our team responsible for maintaining and repairing roads, pavements, and related infrastructure. The role involves manual labor including digging, lifting, operating machinery, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will assist with road repairs, signage installation, pothole filling, and ensuring site safety. Training and protective equipment will be provided.
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks
- Experience or willingness to learn in highways or construction work
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures on roadworks sites
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Valid CSCS card or willingness to obtain (desirable)
- Good communication skills
